of its grid of lively, busy streets. But it also has an elegant Mediterranean feeling and is home to some of the city\u2019s best fine-dining restaurants, boutiques, museums, art galleries, entertainment venues, and much more.<\/p><p>The\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Eixample\u00a0<\/span>is renowned for its architecture. As you stroll around it is a pleasure to contemplate all the beautiful fa\u00e7ades of the Modernista buildings that date from the late 1800\u2019s and early 1900\u2019s, such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bonavistadev.com\/en\/development\/casa-bures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"undefined (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">Casa Bur\u00e9s<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bonavistadev.com\/en\/development\/girona-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"undefined (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">Girona2<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bonavistadev.com\/en\/development\/girona-34\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"undefined (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">Girona34<\/a>.<\/p><p>For practical purposes the district is often divided in two :\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Eixample Dret<\/span>\u00a0(<em>Right<\/em>) and\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Eixample Esquerra\u00a0<\/span>(<em>Left<\/em>). The\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Eixample Dret<\/span>\u00a0is located east of Carrer de Balmes, and includes upscale streets such as Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia and Rambla Catalu\u00f1a. This part of the city offers infinite possibilities for enjoying the best of Barcelona without having to leave the neighbourhood.<\/p><p>At the beginning of spring, as days become longer and warmer, the plants and trees here begin to bloom. This greenery, combined with the bustling Mediterranean atmosphere, makes us want to be outside every day, and we\u2019re sure you\u2019ll feel the same!<\/p><p>At present, due to Covid restrictions, going outside is a bit more complicated, and we all need to be extra careful and follow the rules regarding distancing and masks. But there are still lots of things to see, experience and enjoy.
