LA TORRETA
Adolf Ruiz Casamitjana, a renowned modernist architect and also the creator of the La Rotonda building, designed La Torreta in 1890 to be a summer residence for a Catalan bourgeois family.
From the beginning, La Torreta stood out for its unique details: floral ornamentation with bas-reliefs, sgraffiti, corbels, capitals, lintels, and iron railings with floral motifs.
The original façade of the building has been preserved, as well as the original fence and access gate to the property. La Torreta was the residence of German artist Will Faber Zietz, who lived in the building from 1942 until his death in 1987.
